Ferrari F450

Ferrari F450 � an entirely new sport car, in style. It has a sharp and aggressive appearance. The F450 will be significantly lighter than the F430, aiding not only speeding up and handling, but also fuel economy.The engine

will be mated to a higher-performance version of the 7-speed twin-clutch gearbox. The Italian manufacturer will replace the current 4.3 liter V8 engine (of the F430 model) with a larger 4.5 liter V8. This is what will drive the name change from F430 to F450. The larger engine is expected to have a minimum of 500 horsepower. The Italian sports and racing car manufacturer is planning on increasing the fuel efficiency and lowering the carbon emissions of the new model.

The extra possibility of this new model is turbocharging. Ferrari brass have recently admitted that smaller-displacement, direct-injection turbocharged engines will be the future models.With the launching of new Ferrari 450 model, the company will not wholly change its commercial corporate color from Red to Green. Still, it will be interesting to see how Ferrari integrates some of the ecology-friendly technology into the new model while delivering more power to stay ahead of the market competition.

The new Ferrari F450 is expected to unveil at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September and planning to go on sale in the US in the middle of 2010. The F450 will be the replacement for the F430.
