Subaru of America announced pricing for the non-turbo, 2011MY Impreza models. Apart from the addition of some new colors and equipment upgrades on certain versions, there are no other changes for the 2011 model year Impreza, which is scheduled to arrive at U.S. dealerships in July. Pricing for the 2.5i, 2.5i Premium and Impreza Outback Sport are held to 2010 model year levels.
Subaru�s parent company Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI) today announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Tan Chong Group for the local production of an unnamed compact SUV in Malaysia. The only compact SUV in Subaru�s current range is the Forester, though the vehicle in question may be the upcoming Impreza-based crossover that was previewed by the XV Concept (pictured above) at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show in China this past April.
Subaru will take on a wide array of supercars including the Ariel Atom V8, Lamborghini LP570-4 Performante, McLaren MP4-12C and Noble M600 at this month�s Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, which is billed as �the UK�s biggest celebration of power and speed�. The Japanese company will compete in the race with its limited-edition Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, driven by none other than Mark Higgins, the former British Rally Champion who recently set the production road car lap record for the Isle of Man TT circuit in an Impreza WRX STI
